The two-point correlation formalism is applied to the sample of galaxy clusters studied by Salvador-Sole et al. (1993) where evidence of correlation among galaxies was found. The two-point correlation that is obtained is used to derive the typical density profile of clumps in the frame of a realistic clustering model. The possible origin of clumps causing the correlation is discussed.
