Observations of Titan at 1.0 to 1.4 microns at resolutions of 8/cm and 1/cm are reported. The spectra include two methane windows centered at 1.28 and 1.07 microns. A preliminary analysis of the 9050 to 9200/cm region of Titan is presented, using new laboratory data of methane recorded under long paths (about 500 m-am). The data in this range seem to be more consistent with a methane profile governed by saturation in most of the troposhere than with a uniform methane mixing ratio of 1 to 2 throughout the atmosphere.
