A new paradigm for baryon asymmetry in which the fundamental Lagrangian is a major symmetry breaking factor is examined. It is opined that gauge fields operating in various astrophysical sites resulted in cp violating processes which led to the spontaneous baryon asymmetry. Existing QED letters within the astrophysical environment arose from the mathematical formalism of the QCD roots. Further implications of the result are also discussed.
