A photometric CCD sequence in B is employed to measure 21 Cepheids in NGC 3109, and the data are utilized to evaluate the galaxy's distance modulus and examine Cepheid stellar parameters. The distance modulus for NGC 3109 is developed via two methods and shows that the object is delta(m - M)0 = 7.00 +/- 0.16 more distant than the LMC. The distance determination of 1.26 +/- 0.1 Mpc is 25 percent shorter than existing data, and the Cepheids in the LMC and NGC 3109 are found to have very similar properties.
