We consider a close binary system which contains a compact object and suggest that VHE gamma rays are produced near this object. In such a system the produced VHE gamma rays has to interact with soft photons around the companion star by gamma+gamma->ee reactions. These soft photons have radial distribution. So the VHE gamma rays will come to an observer when the VHE gamma-ray source is placed between the companion star and the observer, because the reaction is impossible if the angle between the momenta of soft photons and gamma-quanta is small. In this model the VHE gamma-ray light curve has a sharp maximum at the orbital phase region 0.2-0.8 for various orientation and eccentricity orbits. Our estimations show that for Cyg X-3 orbital parameters the light curve maximum is placed at the phase 0.6 that is in coincidence with recent experimental data.
