We report recent results from the STIS Near-UV MAMA imaging snapshot survey of nearby (z<0.1) 3C radio galaxies. We find complex extended ultraviolet emission in these low-z radio galaxies that is reminiscent of the chaotic high-z radio galaxy structures (rest-frame UV). This suggests the exciting physics of high-z radio sources occurs even now. The diverse UV morphologies include possible indicators of star formation, jets, and scattered AGN continuum. We investigate the origin of the NUV emission by comparing the integrated colours and colour maps with models UV emission models for stellar populations and other processes such as scattering, shocks and photoionization.
