Substructure in the primary lens of a multiply imaged high redshift object can cause significant changes in the relative magnification and morphology of the images. The effects depend on the size of the source, the number density of dark satellite galaxies and their mass distribution. Simulations are done to asses the importance of substructure to QSO observations.
