The processes of the fragmentation of self-gravitating gas clouds may be accompanied by the excitation of intense turbulent motions within the clouds. Turbulence may arise as a consequence of various causes, e.g., it may be generated by the motions of fragments formed during the collapse of a cloud. The influence of the turbulence parameters on the evolution of clouds with three different values of mass (800, 10 to the 4th, and 10 to the 7th solar masses) is studied. An increase of the effective viscosity of gas due to turbulence results in a considerable heating of gas in the fragmenting cloud.
