It is suggested that the sun is a source of very high energy neutrinos that are generated by cosmic ray interactions with solar matter. Because such planned neutrino experiments as GRANDE will be able to achieve 0.5 deg angular resolution, such neutrinos will be detectable. This solar neutrino flux could be used as a standard for detector calibration, as well as a basis for the investigation of the sun's deeper layers and nucleus and of the neutrino-nucleon cross-section at very high energies.
