In this paper we report on an analysis of the slowly pulsating B star HD1976. This star was found to be a variable with a period of 1.06 days by Waelkens. et. al. (1998, A&A, 330, 215) through an analysis of Hipparcos photometry. We put it on the observing program of the Four College Consortium Automatic Photoelectric Telescope (FCAPT) in late 1999. We have tentatively confirmed the Hipparcos period, finding a period of 1.06 days (0.939 c/d) in both the Hipparcos and the FCAPT data. There is some confusion with its +1 c/d alias in the FCAPT data but the Hipparcos results are unambiguous. We have also tentatively identified a second term with a period of 2.51 days (0.399 c/d) in both the Hipparcos and the FCAPT data. Observations of this star are continuing.
