Moderate resolution spectra, taken on the WIYN Hydra Spectrograph for radial velocity studies, were used to determine metallicity for 29 RR Lyrae variables in the metal poor globular cluster M3. For each star, those spectra taken during the minimum light phase were combined. Color indices, calculated from Gunn photometry taken on the Kitt Peak 0.9 meter telescope, were used in conjunction with models from Kurucz 1979 to derive temperature and gravity measurements for each star. We find a mean metallicity for these stars of [Fe/H] = -1.43 dex, a value very close to Armosky et al's (1994, AJ, 108, 1364) value of [Fe/H] = -1.47 for the cluster's giant stars. [Mg/H], [Ca/H], [Ti/H], and [Sc/H] were also determined for each of the stars. We find that all of these elements are enriched with respect to iron. This work is carried out through the NOAO/KPNO REU Program, supported by the National Science Foundation.
