Infrared arrays have resulted in a new generation of infrared spectrographs using cryogenic gratings, including instruments such as CGS4, CSHELL, Phoenix, and NIRSPEC. Unlike the previous generation instruments, which were Fourier Transform Spectrographs, grating spectrographs require external standards for wavelength calibration. In order to provide a laboratory wavelength calibration, we have undertaken an analysis of the infrared ThNeAr hollow cathode spectra. FTS spectra of hollow cathode sources containing Th and Ar were found in the McMath archives. By contacting the original investigators we have obtained an unpublished analysis of these spectra. We next obtained deep Phoenix exposures through the available 1 to 2.5 micron filters, including the entire K band. Using identifications and wavelengths from the FTS based lists, we have extended the wavelength identifications to weaker lines. Sections of the atlas of identifications, currently being prepared for publication, will be presented.
