I present two compatible sets of observations of radial velocity measurements of narrow-line region (NLR) gas of the Seyfert 2 galaxy Markarian 3. One is an HST (Hubble Space Telescope) slitless spectral observation using STIS (Space Telescope Imaging Spectrograph). The other is a STIS long-slit spectrum, the slit being centered on the nucleus, with a PA of ~ 75 degrees. Both sets of observations favor a biconical kinematic model employing mass outflow. Comparisons between the two sets will be shown, along with the best fit kinematic models.
