We present two catalogs of quasars each confined to a 1 square degree region centered on an ultra-deep galaxy survey. One region is the Hubble Deep Field South (HDFS), the other is a deep survey carried out at Keck by Cohen et al. (1999, KDF). Two photometric source catalogs were constructed from imaging obtained at the 1.5m telescope at CTIO for the HDFS, and Mosaic on the 0.9m telescope at Kitt Peak for the KDF. Candidate quasars for each of the fields were chosen on the basis of their ultra-violet excess with respect to the stellar locus. The quasars were confirmed spectroscopically using the 4m Blanco telescope at Cerro Tololo for the HDFS and using Hydra at the WIYN telescope for the KDF. These new quasars comprise a grid of absorption probes which can be used to study large scale structure as well as the correlation between luminous galaxies, non-luminous halos and Lyman-alpha absorbers in the direction of each of the deep pencil-beam galaxy surveys.
