Chiral asymmetric couplings are a basic feature of the standard model.
We show that gravity couplings which manifestly preserve this feature
are necessarily complex, and that as a result parity nonconservation can
take place in the gravity sector. Implications for breakdown of CPT
symmetry are also discussed.
