Based on a computer program (LUNAMAC) of mare basalt crystallization, geochemical thermometry of the equilibrium crystallization products of melts representing 85 rocks and glasses of Luna-24 was carried out. It was found that about 70 percent of all samples were from a unique set of cotectic lines corresponding to very-low-Ti mare basalts. The most numerous compact clusters of these compositions were observed in the interval 1130-1170 C, which characterizes predominant temperatures of the Mare Crisium basaltic magmas extrusions. Most ferrobasalts were found to be supersaturated by plagioclase, despite the fact that the analysis of cotectic lines (Ol+Pl+/-Px) indicated that these rocks are related to Luna-24 high-Mg basalts and green glasses.
