NGC 6822 is a dwarf irregular galaxy with a number of young clusters previously identified by visual inspection. We present the results of an objective search for young star clusters in NGC 6822 using four HST WFPC2 archival fields. Our method, based on overdensities of blue stars, selected 38 cluster candidates ranging in size from 3 to 12 pc. The mean reddening of these clusters is E(B-V)=0.21 and their ages range from 12 to 700 Myr. Combined with clusters found in other archival fields, we compare the NGC 6822 cluster properties to those in other irregular galaxies and compare the cluster ages to the field star formation history.
