Angular cross-correlation functions between distance classes 1-4 and 6 of Abell and ACO catalogs of rich clusters of galaxies are analyzed, and the dependence of these correlations on cluster richness is studied. The decontamination process discussed by Dekel et al. (1989) is applied, and similar cross-correlations in the decontaminated catalogs are analyzed. The results indicate that the decontamination process does not change the systematics found in the cross-correlation functions of the original catalogs.
