Radio observations of high-velocity clouds (HVCs) are presented in which the small-scale structures are classified in terms of several parameters. The data from the Westerbork Synthesis Radio Telescope are examined in terms of hydrogen-column density, velocity-right ascension cuts, histograms of line width, and observational parameters. Extensive graphic data are presented with particular reference to the corresponding algorithms for data reduction and for filling the missing data from the high-resolution observations.
