A data set encompassing 23 binaries for which essential properties of components and orbits are known is presently used to study the relationship between activity, rotation, and revolution in comparatively close binaries, by comparison to the relationship defined by single stars. Confirmation is obtained for previous reports that the relationships between emissions from the outer stellar atmospheres of the binaries are indistinguishable from those defined by single stars. While the rotation-activity relationship for single stars can be described in terms of fundamental stellar properties, properties of the secondary are important in determining the activity of close binaries.
