CCD images obtained in 1983, 1985, and 1987 show that a new knot has appeared in the L1551/IRS 5 jet about 1.5 arcsec away from the central star after 1983. This result suggests that the outflow process is ongoing. The whole knot system is shown to have moved away from the central star about 1 arcsec in four years, corresponding to a tangential velocity of 190 km/sec. It is noted that the appearance of the knot system has not changed substantially since 1983.
