Schematic evolutionary calculations of globular clusters are reported which incorporate relaxation, mass loss across a tidal boundary, heating and mass loss following orbital passage through the Galactic disk, and mass loss by stellar evolution. The cluster evolution to core collapse or tidal disruption is traced using a three-parameter sequence of King models. The results suggest that if globular clusters are born tidally limited in a single burst of star formation with a Salpeter initial mass function, then only the most concentrated clusters survive the initial phase of mass loss. For surviving clusters, the evolutionary trends are as follows: low mass clusters collapse before a Hubble time, moderate mass clusters near the Galactic center complete core collapse, and high-mass clusters are in the process of collapsing near the Galactic center.
