The wavefunctions for an asymmetric rotor depend strongly on the representation; hence, a knowledge of this representation along with the wavefunctions is essential. The present paper points out that the test-run output in the erratum notice presented by Jain and Thompson (1985) for their paper of 1983 appears to be inconsistent. It is concluded that their computer program requires a further modification. This finding is illustrated by a numerical example which considers the case of the H2O molecule.
