Two spacecraft, Sakigake and Suisei, which were launched by the Institute of Space and Astronautical Science of Japan, flied successfully by the comet P/Halley at minimum distances of 7 million and 150 thousand kilometers respectively. The scientific objectives of these spacecraft were to explore the environment of the comet directly taking the opportunity of the re-revisiting of the first class comet, Halley. Plasma and neutral hydrogen environments were selected for scientific exploration. This article gives the overview of recent scientific results of our missions.
