Scattering: Numerical Methods
Scientific paper
An improved volume integral equation method for computing electromagnetic scattering by particles in free space or imbedded in layered media is introduced. The authors apply the method of moments with rooftop expansion and test function for the solution of the volume integral equation. The singularity of Green's function is reduced by moving derivatives to test and expansion functions. Comparison with Mie theory and other numerical codes are made.
