109 Vir (HR 5511) is a standard star in the four-color system and a spectrophotometric standard. Recently Taylor has raised questions concerning the stability of 109 Vir. The authors present photometric and spectrophotometric data indicating that over the time period 1969 - 80 no evidence can be found for any variations greater than the rms error of their observations.
