UV spectra of AM Her show a hot blackbody component which is eclipsed in phase with the hard and soft X-ray eclipses. A recent determination of the blackbody temperature of the soft component of AM Her shows that the RayleighJeans tail detected in the UV is not the long wavelength end of the same blackbody seen in soft X-rays. We wish to obtain phase resolved spectra of several newly discovered AM Her systems whose light curves suggest clean eclipses in order to search for similar Rayleigh-Jeans components.
