Ultraviolet spectra were obtained for Mk 501, MGC 8-11-11 and NGC 1275 as part of a multiwaveband observational program of active galactic nuclei. The IUE data of the BL Lac object Mk 501 and the Seyfert galaxy MGC 8-11-11 are presented together with contemporaneous radio and near infrared observations. The broadband spectra do not show any unusual behavior compared with previous observations. For NGC 1275, a galaxy of uncertain classification, near infrared data were also obtained within 2 weeks of the IUE measurement. Compared with previous near infrared photometry, the observations indicate that the source is characteried by an unusual spectral profile.
