Half-light UBVRI photometry for 72 galactic globular clusters is presented. The observations were performed during the winter of 1983 from April through September at Cerro Tololo Interamerican Observatory, Chile. The determination of the aperture sizes and the observations are described, and the results are compared with those of Harris and Racine (1979). In general the (U-B) and (B-V) colors appear to be systematically bluer than those of Harris and Racine. For 27 clusters, the color differences are greater than 0.04 mag.
