Spiral Galaxies: Rotation, Spiral Galaxies: Mass-Luminosity Relation

Scientific paper

The rotation curve of the spiral galaxy NGC 7137 is presented. The
velocity of the nucleus, corrected for solar motion is V0 =
1808±10 km/s, which gives D = 24±0.1 Mpc (H0 =
75 km/s Mpc-1). The total mass-to-luminosity ratio is
estimated to be M/LB= 3.6±1.2.
