Using a sample of 109 spiral galaxies in the Virgo cluster we show that H I deficient galaxies have cooler far-infrared color temperatures and lower 60 and 100 micron fluxes than those with normal H I content. It is suggested that these results can be explained if the dust content of H I deficient galaxies have been reduced by a factor of two compared to field galaxies.
