Results of IRAS pointed observations in four infrared wavelength bands (12, 25, 60, and 100 microns) for the SMC are presented. Maps with orthogonal scan directions are shown, and a source list containing 219 infrared sources is extracted from the data. Comparison with the IRAS Point Source Catalog (PSC) shows that only three entries in this catalog are spurious. All 13 entries in the IRAS Small Scale Structure Catalog (SSS) in the SMC are confirmed. Seventy-two new infrared sources, not included in either the PSC or in the SSS are found. The present SMC infrared source list is compared to other object lists. Two blue globular clusters, 28 SAO stars, and seven planetary nebulae are identified. No SMC stars are found. In general there is a good correlation of infrared emission with the distributiion of H II regions and dark clouds.
