Cosmological basics are surveyed. Attention is given to cosmic 3 K microwave background radiation, noting that the radiation is anisotropic to within less than 0.01. The open, closed, and Einstein-de Sitter universe are discussed, along with decoupling of the background radiation. Further topics examined are different types of anisotropy, a rotating universe with the big bang and recollapse covered. In addition, 3K anisotropy is considered as a new ether drift and possible causes of the present isotropy are investigated.
