We compute the SEDs at UV to far-IR wavelengths for the simulated galaxies by coupling the simulation output with the GRASIL code, which allows us to compute the IR emission from dust. We then compute the magnitudes, luminosity functions, galaxy number counts and redshift distribution in the four IRAC and three MIPS bands, and compare with the Spitzer observations. The earlier work by Nagamine et al. (2005) showed a reasonable agreement between simulations and observations regarding the space density of star-forming galaxies, but the distribution of sources among different types (e.g. LBG vs. submm galaxies) were still unclear. The use of GRASIL code allows us to address the division between different types of sources in more detail.
