For the 'blue' and 'red' parts of the solar spectrum blocking coefficients are derived, making solar line-blocking data complete for the wavelength region from 4006 to 6860 A. Intrinsic line-blocking coefficients and corresponding effects of telluric absorption lines are given for 10-A intervals. Wavelength intervals of minimum line blocking are derived for a resolution of 10 A.
