Studying the pre-main-sequence phase of star formation is crucial in the study of star and planet formation, indeed, planetesimals are expected to form during this evolutionary
stage through grain growth in circumstellar disks. This is usually well settled via multi wavelengths observations. We present a SED study toward a sample of 15 Herbig Ae
stars. We show that in several disks the dust is already processed into large grains. The grain properties found in these Herbig Ae stars are similar to T Tauri stars. We find that the stars start to process their dust after 10$^6$ yrs and there is a significant correlation of the grain growth with the stellar age.
