Solar radio activities at metric and decimetric wavelengths in September and October 1977 are briefly reported on the basis of observations made with the 70-600 MHz radiospectrograph and the 160 MHz radiometer of the Nobeyama Solar Radio Station of the Tokyo Astronomical Observatory. First a general overview of the activities during the period is given and then spectral features of several outstanding events are described. The type IV burst of September 20 exhibited the characteristic nature of quasi-periodic radio pulsation. Preliminary results of the analysis of this event are described in detail.
