The Large Area Telescope (LAT) on the Fermi Gamma ray Space Telescope is sensitive to gamma rays with energies between 20 MeV and > 300 GeV. In association with the Gamma ray Burst Monitor (GBM) on Fermi, the LAT provides unprecedented temporal and spectral coverage of gamma-ray bursts (GRBs) from 8 keV to the highest energies. We report detection of GRBs with Fermi, including GRB 080825C (GCN 8183) and GRB 080916C (GCN 8246) at 60 degrees and 52 degrees from the LAT boresight, respectively. In the latter case, more than 10 photons with energies > 1 GeV were detected.
