The radio source 0915+320 was observed at 4.9 GHz with six antennas of the Very Large Array in order to detect a small-diameter radio component and to map the extended radio emission in detail. A map with a resolution of 12 arcsec is presented which shows that the overall radio morphology of the source resembles that of three 'wide-angle-tail' sources previously detected in rich clusters of galaxies. A small-diameter core component coinciding to within 1 arcsec with the center of a 15-mag elliptical galaxy is found on a 2-arcsec-resolution map. The entire radio source is tentatively identified with the 15-mag elliptical, and it is noted that 0915+320 is not in a cataloged cluster of galaxies, although this source may be associated with the dominant elliptical galaxy of a group. It is therefore concluded that a rich cluster environment cannot be the primary factor in the formation of a wide-angle-tail structure. The suggestion is made that the main features of the wide-angle-tail morphology are more characteristic of the transitional luminosity range between the DI and DII morphology classes of strong double sources rather than of a given environment
