Different combinations of the 'rectified' eclipse moments A(2m) are used to establish g-functions for the purpose of constituting two independent relations between two unknown parameters. The parameters, which indicate solutions of the elements of the eclipsing system in the frequency-domain, are obtained from the two relations by numerical techniques. The choice of the most suitable moments is considered with attention to the m-dependence of the moments, errors in the observational values of the moments, and different practical procedures for the solution of eclipse elements.
