High-speed photometry of the Cygnus X-2 optical candidate has revealed
the existence of low-level (0.1-0.2 percent) flickering activity on one
night when the object was faint; this activity was not present on the
following night, the object being at the same flux level. A peak at P
equals 10.9 min in the power spectrum of the first night is significant.
