International Ultraviolet Explorer low resolution spectra of eight planetary nebulae from low to fairly high excitation were taken. A nebular continuum was measured in NGC 7662 and shown to be essentially of atomic origin. A significant stellar wind from the nuclei of most of the planetaries was detected with velocities around 1000 - 3000 km/sec. A crude estimate of the associated mass loss is given.
