The variation of the elements of cometary orbits (a, q, e) during the passage of the comets through the gas-dust trail located near the semiaxis of the antiapex of the peculiar motion of the sun is discussed. It is shown that the semimajor axis and the perihelion distance of the orbits decrease; the eccentricity can either decrease or increase, exceeding e = 1.
