Photoelectric BVRI photometry is presented for 16 T Tau and related
stars in the Rho Oph dark cloud, as well as vidicon spectroscopic
observations for nine stars. The color excesses of these stars favor
circumstellar dust shells as the source of the observed infrared
excesses.
