Castelli et al. (1976) have obtained spectroscopic observations of CG And and while the star was clearly a spectroscopic variable, the radial velocity and equivalent width observations were consistent with both of the two recorded photometric periods of 3d.74 and 2h04m. In this paper it is shown from a series of 58 spectra taken on three nights that the radial velocities are not substantially variable with periods on the order of two hours so that the 3d.74 period is appropriate for the observed spectral variations in CG And.
