The SWIFT BAT hard x-ray telescope has been surveying the entire sky for the last 4 years. It has achieved all sky sensitivities on the order of 1E-11 ergs/cm2/sec in the 15-195 keV band. We have followed up the hard x-ray detections with Swift, Suzaku and XMM pointed observations and have identified over 250 non-Blazar AGN and more than 35 Blazas.
This is the first all sky AGN survey which is unbiased with respect to galaxy properties, optical, IR , UV or soft x-ray or radio properties and with respect to obscuration.
We will summarize some of the surprising new results that we have obtained.
