CCD photometry is used to correct the B and V magnitudes of the fainter stars in a sequence that calibrates the photographic photometry of the NGC 300 Cepheids. The revised >V< magnitudes for the Cepheids give a true distance modulus of 26.4±0.2 mag for NGC 300, 7.9 mag greater than that for the LMC and in excellent agreement with the distance found from infrared photometry of two of the Cepheids.
