It is found that accounting for the anisotropy of X-ray radiation from an accretion disk surrounding a black hole allows for agreement between the observed and theoretical optical light curves of the system, LMC X-3. The restrictions on the LMC X-3 system parameters and the mass of the X-ray source are obtained. It is concluded that the relativistic object in the system is a black hole.
