The presence of an 11-ms pulsar in the direction of the globular cluster M4 and at about the same distance has recently been reported. The relation of the pulsar to the cluster remained uncertain. The authors have made sensitive radio aperture synthesis observations and show that the pulsar indeed lies within the core of the globular cluster as projected onto the sky. They also report the absence of any other point sources within the core of the cluster having flux densities greater than one-seventh of that of the pulsar.
