OP her is a variable star, visual range 6.0 - 6.6, spectrum M5, classified as a slowly varying irregular variable (Lb) in the third edition of the General Catalogue of Variable Stars (1969). With about 20 visual estimates per night during three months, OP Her was the most observed star of the French-Italian campaign of the summer 1974. The method of studying the measurements was given in the first paper of this series (Figer, 1975). A FORTRAN computer program, perfected by N. Mauron, was used for an iterative calculation of the weighted means. The results of iterative procedure show a very strong convergence of the parameters taken into account in the study and justify stopping the calculations after the second iteration. The variation of brightness of OP Her has reached 0.4 mag during the period of observation. The very weak scatter of the mean points around a light curve showing a slow variation with a large range makes us think that a theoretical precision of +/-0.015 to +/-0.03 mag has been definitely reached. A comparison with the photoelectric measurements of L. Baldinelli confirms that the precision of visual means was better than +/-0.04 mag (standard deviation < 0.02) and probably better than the precision of photoelectric measurements themselves (standard deviation about 0.03 mag). Coming after the results obtained on V 449 Cyg, this study confirms the validity of the process followed for the treatment of visual estimates.
